About Me

I obtain my medical degree from Haiti’s State University and Masters Degrees in public health at Boston University and in leadership & management at Emmanuel College, both schools located in Boston, MA. I have extensive experience in organization management, health promotion and education, clinical and social science research, and health improvement programs. I currently lead Repheka Haiti (www.repheka.org), a non-profit dedicated to supporting quality, dignified, and affordable health care to all in Haiti. Providing affordable quality health care to its people is a daunting task for all countries, especially for impoverished ones, such as Haiti. We need fresh ideas, based on Haiti's political, economic, societal, historical, and cultural traits, to come up with a model for universal healthcare coverage in Haiti. It seems a colossal endeavor, but one that we must address now and together.
